Jewel Emma Turner

Graveside services for Jewel Emma Turner, 89, of Musella will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Roberta City Cemetery.

She was a lifelong resident of Crawford County and attended Musella Baptist Church. She loved to cook chicken and dumplings, collard greens, banana pudding and fat back, she loved everything George Strait and loved to watch WWE (wrestling), soap operas, Family Feud and The Price Is Right. She also loved her puzzle books, but most of all she loved her family.

Ms. Jewel was preceded in death by her husband, James Smith Turner; siblings, Francis Harmon, Earl Childers, Nathaniel “Buck” Childers, Janette Turner, Ann Garner.

Survivors include her children, Lisa (Donald) Moore, Freddie Turner, Gary (Linda) Turner, Roscoe Turner and Margaret Garner; grandchildren, Shena Turner, Freddie Turner, Jr, Nicholas Turner, Ashley Moore, Christopher Moore, and Felicia “Little Bit” (Justin) Sayre, Kelly King, Ana Short, Casey Albercrombie; nineteen great grandchildren; sister, Louise Bone; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 1:00 until 3:00 at the funeral home. The family will be at Ms. Jewels residence, 5255 Salem Church Road, Musella, Thursday and Friday from 12:00 until 5:00 for family and friends.
