Jim Crook

Graveside services for Jim Crook, 85, of Reynolds will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Taylor Mill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Mr. Crook passed on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Houston Medical Center.  He was a member of Taylor Mill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julious Gordon Crook, Sr. and Vassar Hobbs Crook, six brothers, three sisters, and a son, Joe Crook.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Joyce B. Crook of Reynolds; one son, Jimmie “Bo” Crook (Peggy) of Reynolds; two daughters, Vallerie Hard (John) and Vassar Youngblood of Reynolds; eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren also survive.

The family will be receiving friends at the residence of Bo and Peggy Crook, 1142 Tommy Purvis, Jr. Road, Reynolds, after 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022.
