Jimmy Byers, Jr.

Jimmy Byers, Jr., 68, of Junction City, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Piedmont Healthcare in Columbus.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Jimmy was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Dudley Byers, Sr. and Shirley Elizabeth Goggins Byers, and by his son, Trey Byers.

He is survived by his wife, Alysia Byers of Junction City; two sons, Mitchell Lamar Posey (Susannah) of Butler and Andy Byers of Junction City; one daughter, Beth Reed of Warner Robins; daughter-in-law, Lisa Byers of Roberta; and eleven grandchildren.
