Graveside services for Jimmy McDaniel, 87, of Garden Valley will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 11:00 am at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  Mr. McDaniel passed on Saturday, September 11, 2021.  He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Clifford and Hortense Slaton McDaniel, a son, Jeff McDaniel and several siblings.

Survivors include his former wife, Joyce Whitworth of Ft. Valley; two sons, Jon McDaniel of Garden Valley and Jamey McDaniel (Danielle) of Kathleen; three sisters, Gloria Harris (Blanton) of Milledgeville, Brenda English (Ron) of Norman, OK and Mary Lumpkin of Garden Valley; three grandchildren, Jessica Baker, Hayley McDaniel and Jamey McDaniel, Jr; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
