Funeral services for Joe Berry Logue, 76, of Reynolds will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 1:00 pm until the service hour. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Joe passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at his home.
He was a member of Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, church clerk, and Sunday school superintendent. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Potterville Fire Department and had served as a Taylor County deputy with the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Logue, and Ethel Pearl Smith Logue; three brothers, Robert Logue, Walden Logue and Smitty Logue.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Charlotte A. Logue of Reynolds; three sons, Joey Logue (Jeannie) of Butler, Eric Logue of Butler and Matt Logue of Reynolds; seven grandchildren, Spence Logue (Roxie) of Butler, Shae Tyson (Brennon) of Reynolds, Sierra Quates (Stefon) of Snellville, Ashlyn Cox (Brant) of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Tucker Logue of Butler, Emerson Logue of Butler, Chelsea Logue of Reynolds; eight great-grandchildren, Riley Logue, Robbie Logue, Silas Logue, Skylar Tyson, Nash Tyson, Arizona Quates, Amias Quates and Amelia Quates.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church or American Cancer Society.
