A memorial service for John Michael “Mike” Kelley, 63, of Roberta will be held Wednesday, May 14 , 2025 at 11:00 am at Musella Baptist Church.  Mike passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at his residence.

He was a member of Musella Baptist Church.  Mike retired from Blue Bird Body Company after 43 years of service.  He was very talented in creating artwork, pottery and knifemaking as well as playing the harmonica, guitar and recently had began learning to play the piano.  Mike loved history and enjoyed researching his family ancestry.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Edwin Kelley; his stepfather, Jimmy Green; his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Peggy Moss and paternal grandparents, David and Geneva Kelley.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Kelley Green of Roberta; his siblings, Deborah Cooper (Steve) of Gray, Paula Hammack (Stuart) of Macon, Joyce Burgess (Danny) of Milledgeville, Stephen Kelley (Dianne) of Roberta; Julie Cole (Ernie) of Gray; two stepsons, Sean Russell and Evan Russell; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and his caregiver, Alyssa Lockhart.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
