Graveside services for Joseph Pye, 86, of Butler will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Pye passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. He was a member of Butler Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gardner Pye and Marion Watson Pye.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Pye of Butler; one son, Walter Pye (Betsy) of Butler; one daughter, Carlotta Harvey (Bryan) of Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Carlotta Cochran (Tom) of Fairfax, Virginia; six grandchildren, Christi Williams, Nikki Cobb, Jessica Greene, Amy Anderson, Reeves Harvey, and Kirksey Harvey; several great-grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice.
