Graveside services for Joyce Kendrick, 80, of Butler will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 11:00 am at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.  Joyce passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.  She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Louella Bryant Sutherland; three sisters, Joan Morefield, Corenia Brummitt and Leota Hall; a grandson, Jacob New; and her husband, Jack Kendrick.

Survivors include four sons, Jeff New (Yon) of Goldsboro, NC, Joel New (Janet) of Butler, John New of Thomaston and Jimmy New (Joni) of Byron; one daughter, Wanda Fain of Watkinsville; two sisters, Ellen Anderson of Troutville, VA and Carol Lipps (Gary) of Jefferson, OH; one brother, Thomas Sutherland of Jefferson, OH; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive.
