Graveside services for Joyce Guy Shirey, 88, of Butler, Georgia will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 11:00 am at Butler Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Joyce passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital.
She attended the Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, John H. “Joe” Guy, Roy Bunn, and Merlin Shirey; and a son-in-law, Mike Knowles.
She is survived by three sons, Joel Guy (Melia) of Butler, Mark Guy (Robin) of Butler, and Darel Guy (Kellie) of Butler; two daughters, Vicky Knowles of Texas and Darla Orr (Jimmy) of Butler; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
