Funeral services for Kathy Nelson Roberson, 71, of Reynolds, will be held
at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Taylor Mill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will
follow in the Taylor Mill Baptist Church Cemetery. 
Mrs. Roberson passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, July
2, 2026.
A member of Taylor Mill Baptist Church, Kathy loved the Lord and was
known for her kind, forgiving heart, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion
to her family. She retired after 40+ years of dedicated service with Yancey
Bus Sales and Blue Bird Body Company. She cherished the time she spent
with her family and especially enjoyed being a grandmother and great-
grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Mercer Nelson, Jr. and
Margaret Virginia Owens Nelson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Gary Roberson of
Reynolds; two sons, Ben Roberson (Mandy) and Corey Roberson (Christy),
both of Reynolds; one daughter, Heather Roberson Nipper (Kevin) of
Reynolds; one brother, Ronny Nelson of Warner Robins; five grandchildren,
Blake Roberson (Kayla), Tyler Roberson (Jamie Kay), Alyssa Nipper, Jacob
Roberson, Kensley Nipper; two great-grandchildren, Landon and Carter
Roberson; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Taylor Mill Baptist
Church or to Aveanna Hospice, 285 Country Club Drive, Stockbridge, GA
30281.
