Graveside services for Katie ”Kate” Morrell, 84, of Butler will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 11:00 am at Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Kate passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Edwin Morrell, Sr. and Christine Tucker Morrell; a brother, Lonnie Edwin Morrell, Jr; a sister, Annie Davis; and two nephews, Terry Davis and Lonnie Edwin Morrell, III.
She is survived by two nephews, Donnie Morrell of Butler and Duane Davis of Griffin; three nieces, Patricia Brewster and Denease Davis of Griffin and Ginger McDaniel of Butler.
