Larry L. Barlow, 75, of Roberta, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Roberta

City Cemetery.  There will be a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 2:00 pm at 1978 Horne Road, Roberta, GA.

Larry honorably served his country in Vietnam as a member of the 57th Aviation Battalion and the 121st Assault Helicopter Company (AHC) “Gladiators/Cougars”.  His military service was a source of great pride, and he carried the values of duty, loyalty, and brotherhood with him throughout his life. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

He was a devoted family man who loved the outdoors and the land he called home. He enjoyed raising beef cattle and spent countless hours hunting and fishing. Whether working on the farm, tending his cattle, or enjoying time in the woods, Larry found his greatest peace outdoors. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand and was always willing to give to others in need. His generous spirit, kind heart, and willingness to help anyone who asked made a lasting impression on those who knew him. Known for his marksmanship, family and friends often joked that he was a “damn good shot”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney Barlow, Sr. and Emmie Mullis Barlow; two brothers, Barney Barlow, Jr. and Thomas Barlow; his wife, Kathy McKinney Barlow; and one grandson, Nathan Sud Harrell.

He is survived by his daughter, Sonya Eberhardt (Danny) of Roberta; two grandsons, Michael Harrell of Roberta and Daniel Eberhardt (Carra) of Byron; one sister, Sandra Smith (Ken) of Byron; and several nieces and nephews.
