Funeral services for Laura Jean Martin, 58, of Butler will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Turner’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.  Burial will follow Robinson-Martin Cemetery.  Laura passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at her residence.

She was a member of Turner's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and was a Media Specialist teacher at Taylor County Upper Elementary School for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Evelyn Wainwright Robinson.

She is survived by her husband, Lourie William Martin of Butler; one son, George William Martin of Butler; one daughter, Crystal Roxane Logue (Ryan Spencer Logue) of Butler;  one daughter-in-law, Kristen Hilley of Butler; grandchildren, Riley June Bridges, Remington William Martin, Robert Mason Spillers, Silas Rhett Logue, and Mary Adalynn Martin; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
