Memorial graveside services for Linda Harris Sloan, 79 of Butler will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 2:00pm at Pleasant Hill Congregational Christian Church Cemetery. Linda passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Houston Healthcare.

Ms. Sloan was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, loved watching football, fishing and her afternoon stories.   She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zebie Dee Harris and Johnnie Mae Farmer Harris; husband, Glenn Sloan; son, Mitchell Sloan; sister, Edna Thaxton; brothers, Bill Harris, and Freeman Harris.

Survivors include one son, Rusty Sloan (Shea) of Butler; sister in law, Sylvia Harris of Butler

; four grandchildren, Molly Layfield (Brian), Savannah Sloan (Amira), Parker Sloan (Hannah) and Madison Sloan; four great grandchildren, Weston, Kynlee, Huxlee Layfield and Ella Jane Sloan; several nieces and nephews.
