Mama loved cheerleading, so much that she could still do a split at 45 and she wasn’t afraid to show you. She loved everyone she met and they loved her in return. Mama loved to make people laugh, whether it was an inappropriate joke or her just being her crazy self, you just couldn’t help but laugh.
She was known as Nana to her grand children whom she adored. She loved to teach them to swim and to take them fishing. She will be greatly
missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Carr Parks and Mildred Bass Parks, her brother Wayne Parks and her sister Sherry (Sunshine) Jones, also her late husband Jimmy Minor.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Nicolas Morga, Sr., of Fort Valley, GA; one son, Nicolas Morga, Jr. (Kassie) of Fort Valley; four daughters, Wendy (Mike) Cook of Reynolds, Cindy (Chris)Hancock of Reynolds, Jennifer (Bobby) Williams of Reynolds, Angel (Ben) Harvey of Fort Valley; three sisters, Linda Grant of Lizella, Corine Hobbs of Statham and JoAnn Kasel of Warner Robins; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
