Graveside services for Melvin A. Walker, 86, of Roberta will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 11:00 am at Salem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  Mr. Walker passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at his residence.

He was a member of Musella Baptist Church and was retired  from Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 72.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Walker and Ruth Barker Walker and son, Craig Walker.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Anita Walker of Roberta; one daughter, Kim Johnson of Musella; one son, Todd Walker of Musella; eight grandchildren, Allen Johnson, Blake Johnson, Casey Johnson, Ruth Walker, Vivian Winter, Kyle Walker, Caitlyn Carroll and Jacob Walker; 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Musella Baptist Church, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or any organization of choice.
