Obituary
Funeral services for Milton P. Moore, 96, of Musella will be held Sunday, January 29, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Musella Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in Roberta City Cemetery. Mr. Moore passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was a member of Musella Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from the State of Georgia as an Environmental Consultant after 34 years of service and from Crawford and Twiggs County serving for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Clifford Moore and Edna Doris Vanpelt Moore Gugel; a daughter-in-law, Ellen Moore; and his wife, Zellner Hortman Moore.
He is survived by four sons, Milton P. Moore of Macon, David Moore (Nell) of Musella, Donald Moore (Lisa) of Musella and Scott Moore (Connie) of Musella; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Musella Baptist Church.
