Funeral services for Roger Lee Wainwright, 57, of Butler will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 3:00 pm at The Church in Butler. Burial will follow in Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Roger passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023.
He was a truck driver for Watson Brothers Trucking for 37 years and Concrete Supply for 1 year.
Mr. Wainwright was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Wainwright and Mary Elaine McDaniel Wainwright; brother, Ronald Lee Wainwright.
Survivors include wife, Sherry Wainwright of Butler; two daughters, Ashley Barrow (Chad) of Butler and Pamela Wainwright Powell (Dustin) of Mauk; one stepson, Chris Roe (Alley) of South Carolina; one stepdaughter, Haley Rammage (Brittany) of Butler; one sister, Teresa Blackston (Allen) of Howard; one brother, Charles Thomas (Prisci) of Ellabelle; two grandsons, Blake and Cody Barrow.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 at The Church.
