Graveside services for Rosa McDaniel Cummings, 87, of Ft. Valley will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Hillcrest Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service.

Mrs. Cummings passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Brightmoor Hospice. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ft. Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Gallmon and Ida Mae McDaniel Gallmon; her husband, Douglas Aubrey McDaniel; and her daughter, Mary Adamson.

She is survived by her husband, James Cummings of Ft. Valley; three daughters, Deborah Barnes (Jerry) of Port St. Joe, FL, Susan Gandy (Marc) of Ft. Valley and Dottie Tucker (Mike) of Jacksonville; FL; one son, Freddie Cummings (Heather) of Macon; one sister, Ruth Peed of Butler; one brother, Jimmy Gallmon of Byron; one son-in-law, Keith Adamson; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brightmoor Hospice, 115 Arkwright Road, Macon, GA  31201.
