Roy Eugene Hampton

A celebration of life service for Roy Eugene Hampton, 74, of Mauk will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Horeb Baptist Church. Mr. Hampton passed away Friday, August 23, 2024, at home.  He was a member of Horeb Baptist Church where he served as an usher and was previously employed as a truck driver for Del Cook Lumber Company.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Hampton.

Survivors include one brother, Fred Patton Hampton of Greensboro, GA; three sisters, Patricia Harden of Buhl, AL, Faye Chestnut of Junction City, and Lois Christine Chestnut of Junction City; several nieces and nephews also survive.
