Ruby (Greene) Cummings

Ruby Cummings, 83, of Ft. Valley will be laid to rest next to her husband, Arnie “Butch” Cummings, Jr.  at New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in a private ceremony. She passed away on September 1, 2021 at Navicent Health of Peach County.

Preceded in death by her parents, Rayford Greene and Gladys Greene Hobby; brother, Eugene Greene.

Survivors include one daughter, Janet Mendez (Jose) of Americus, one son, Wayne Cummings of Ft. Valley, one brother, Louis Greene (Sheryl) of Mobile AL, one sister, Lois Railey of Ft. Valley; two grandchildren, Holleigh Carpenter Witmer (Lance) and Ethan Mendez; two step grandchildren, Iris Mendez, Jose Mendez, Jr.; one step great grandchild,  Lenae Hererra; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
