A memorial service for Sammie Hobbs Williams, 75, of Butler will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of McLeighton Funeral Service in Reynolds. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.  Sammie passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.  She attended Turners Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Weaver Hobbs and Mable Beeland Hobbs; a brother, Lewis Hobbs, and a sister, Brenda Gallmon.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Wainwright (Christy) of Butler and Billy Wainwright (Vicki) of Butler; seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Compassionate Care of Warner Robins.
