Funeral services for Sammy Peterman, 65, of Byron, will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:30 am at McLeighton Funeral Service, 375 South Dugger Avenue, Roberta, GA.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.  Sammy passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022.  He was a member of Lighthouse Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Peterman and Ophelia Starnes Peterman; brother, Kenneth Peterman; and son-in-law, Jeffery Rose.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Debbie Hinson of Byron; one son, James Peterman (Misty) of Byron; two daughters, Cindy Blando (Brian) of Byron and Samantha Rose of Rincon; one brother Mitchell Peterman (Andrea) of Roberta; six grandchildren, Nate Peterman, Sam Peterman, Cameron Rose, Kayla Rose, Austin Blando (Lana) and Seth Blando.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Community Church, 4301 Jordan Road, Byron, GA  31008.
