Sarah Agnes Applebury

Sarah Agnes Applebury of Milledgeville, Georgia, passed away December 28th, 2022.  She was born August 25, 1987.  Services will be held, January 2, 2023, at The Roberta Church at 116 West Agency Street in Roberta, Georgia with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM and a memorial service at 2:00 PM.

Sarah was a graduate of John Milledge Academy and a Magna Cum Laude Graduate of Georgia Military College.  She attended Georgia College where she studied English and Psychology.  Sarah’s passion was helping people with disabilities.  She only saw the ability in others.  She most enjoyed her work in the psychology lab at Georgia College and Crawford County’s special education program where she nurtured children with Autism.  Sarah loved to make other people laugh and she demonstrated the special ability to make everyone she knew feel loved and accepted. 

Sarah was a bright light and demonstrated love and acceptance.  She shared her beautiful smile and loud laughter with everyone she knew.  Sarah possessed a deep faith in God and a loving spirit which shone a bright light around her.

Sarah was predeceased by her father, Richard Wayne Applebury, of Milledgeville, Georgia.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Sheree Spillers Applebury of Musella; her brothers, Daniel Wesley Applebury and Olympia Applebury of Milledgeville; a loving Uncle and Aunt, Stanley and Sybil Spillers of Roberta; and her beloved best friend, Amber Webb.  She is also survived by loving cousins, LeAnn, Deana, Sarah, Tammie, Mary, April, Terry Lee, Vicki, Kaki, Tom, Sydney, Audrey, Landon, Kaitlin, Desiree, Zion, Yuki, Junichi, Sam, Ben, Kate, Sarah, Lori, Leslie, Tori, Thomas, Anna, Avery, Tyler, Iris, Sydney, Linda, Debbie, Lark, and Melody.
