Graveside services for Scarlett “Betty” Todd, 93, of Jacksonville, Florida will be held Monday, November 4, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Turners Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.  Mrs. Todd passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024.  She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and was of the Baptist faith.  She was born in Butler but had lived in Jacksonville, Florida most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James R. Bennett and Bessie Spillers Bennett; her husband, Johnny H. Todd; and a brother, Billy Bennett.

Survivors include one son, Ronald Dix of Jacksonville, FL; one daughter, Cheryl Hartle (Howard W.) of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren, Cynthia Head and William Head of Jacksonville, FL; one great-grandchild also survives.
