Sybil P Spillers

Sybil P. Spillers, 79, of Roberta passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm at McLeighton Funeral Service, 42 S. Collins Street, Reynolds. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 11:00 am at Roberta Church, 116 West Agency Street, Roberta, with Pastor Tommy Beeland, Bruce Goddard and Wesley Applebury.   Burial will follow in Roberta City Cemetery.

Mrs. Spillers was a member of Roberta Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was active in the youth group at First Baptist Church in Reynolds.  She retired from Public Service Telephone after 36 years and was previously employed by Blue Bird Body Company and Zenith Packing Shed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Jackson Perkins and Blanche Irene Bartlett Perkins; brother, Buddy Perkins; sisters, Patsy Beeland and Brenda “Tutta” Arrington; several fur grandbabies.

Survivors include husband, Stanley P. Spillers of Roberta; one daughter, Vicki Lynn Turner (Cathy) of Eatonton; one brother, Danny Perkins (Patisue) of Reynolds; one grandson, Justin Turner of Oklahoma City; one fur grandbaby, Roxy; one great grandson, Braxton Turner of Oklahoma City; one great granddaughter, Paisley Turner of Oklahoma City; one sister-in-law, Sheree Applebury of Musella; two brothers-in-law, Wayne Arrington and Heath Beeland; and a host of nieces and nephews.
