Funeral services for William Queen, 61, of Mauk will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Butler. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
William passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Upson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Butler and was employed with Taylor County Commissioners.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie David Queen; a sister, Ruth Solozano; and a granddaughter, Natasha Fenoff.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Queen of Mauk; two sons, William Queen (Ashley) of Forest Park and T.J. Queen (Amanda) of Mauk; one daughter, Cindy Ellinwood (Michael) of Reynolds; his mother, Polly Queen (Gonzalo Cespedes) of Atlanta; fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Janice Gilpin of Atlanta and Marie Queen (Scott) of Atlanta; three brothers, David Queen of Atlanta, Tommy Queen (Tina) of Atlanta; Willie Queen of Atlanta; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
