My heart goes out to you for the loss of your dear Carolyn. When we lose our mother it can be compared to having a long sword run through us. May your precious memories of Carolyn make you smile. I found comfort from God's consoling Word the Bible. "God shall wipe away all tears ,death and pain" [ Revelation 21 : 4 ; Isaiah 25 : 8 ; John 5 : 28-29 ] Jesus assures us there is going to be a resurrection! We will welcome back our loved ones! Aunt Carolyn was a delight. She was thoughtful--an excellent cook; always planning dinner for us when we would be in town. She was loving and caring. She was fortunate to have you as a son, Kevin. You took excellent care of her when she became ill; and Kay has taken good care of her as well as you. So sorry for your loss; thankful for the good memories.

Aunt Carolyn was always one of my favorite relatives. She always had a smile on her face that suggested she was either slightly amused or holding back a secret. My mother, Jeanette Mitchell Wingate, still tells fond stories of baby sitting Carolyn, who was eight years younger than mother. She would get to watch over and play with Aunt Carolyn while her parents and the older siblings did chores on their farm.
Aunt Carolyn was truly a special person and will be missed.

Aunt Carolyn will be missed. SHe was always helpful and joyful to my parents as well as myself in our time of distress and needs. My mother Julia Mitchell JOnes loved her and thought so well of her as well as my dad. I am sorry that I cannot attend the funeral as I have some 20-30 patients to see on the 31st.
