Freddie Harbuck, 68, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon, GA after an extended illness.
Graveside services will be Friday, June 3, 2016 at 1 pm at Butler Memorial Cemetery, Butler, GA with the Rev. Archie B. Sealy officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
Freddie was born on March 12, 1948, the son of David Thomas, Sr. and Maude Watson Harbuck of Mauk, GA. Other than his parents, he was predeceased in death by a brother, Virgil Harbuck; and his faithful companion Bruiser.
He was a lifelong resident of Butler, GA, graduating from Taylor County High School. He retired from Robins Air Force Base after 40 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War.
Freddie was Methodist by faith.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pam Bazemore Harbuck; one son, Jason Harbuck of Ocala, FL and grandson, Bailey Harbuck; granddaughters, Brooklyn and Britain Harbuck of Belleview, FL and a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Harbuck of El Cajon, CA;: eight sisters, Josephine Welch of Mauk, GA, Dorothy Hill of Butler, GA, Maudie Wright of Bainbridge, GA, Mary Jo Mines and Bonnie Harbuck of Warner Robins, GA, Merrell Ramick of Buford, GA, Lessie (Ronald) Wyrick of Columbus, GA and Juanita (Herbert) Tante of Buena Vista, GA; one brother, David (Gloria) Harbuck of Warner Robins, GA; one brother-in-law, James ”Steve” (Cindy) Bazemore of Macon, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.
McLeighton Funeral Service of Butler, GA is in charge of arrangements.
